For AIB, one of Ireland’s biggest banks, CWSI’s solution enabled them to set up Ireland’s first fully digital, automated bank branch.
AIB sought to reduce costs by increasing customers’ use of self-service banking using digital technology. Due to the challenges associated with mobile technology and security risks they had yet to find a solution that would allow them to effectively implement the use of smart phones and devices, without compromising security.
AIB use CWSI as a Mobile Systems Integrator – we find them to have detailed knowledge in the area of mobility and a deep understanding and capability of what’s required to deliver large scale mobility projects particularly in the area of security and management.
CWSI took a risk-first approach to the project, ensuring that security was paramount and any risk of loss of data was mitigated against. This gave AIB the confidence and peace of mind to focus on business as usual, maintaining their reputation and excellent customer service throughout the transformation process, without fear of security breaches.
Initially, we implemented secure cloud service MobileIron for a small cross-company group of staff users on corporate-owned smart devices. Working with a pilot group in this way enabled us to shape a bespoke solution to fit the company’s needs. The pilot group helped to design a secure, robust and future-proof corporate policy, to be rolled out across the whole organisation, mobilising their staff and give customers access to banking on-the-go.
Our approach enabled AIB to maintain its competitive edge and take advantage of mobile banking to bring their services into the digital age, without jeopardising data security.
